CLASS DETAILS: If you have never tried paining, or would like to "re-kindle" your love of painting, this is a great place to start! We will begin with color theory and how to make our own colors. Then we will learn how to "see" either what's in front of you or what you envision in your mind. There are no "mistakes", but "works in progress", so don't expect a masterpiece or any other unrealistic, idealistic goal. Let's focus on the principles of color & design and have fun - everything else comes third.
Be sure to bring a pencil, at least one synthetic paint brush (10-piece set for $4.99 @ Michael's), 5 acrylic paints (White, Black, Red, Yellow, Blue) and prepared canvas (loose sheets, a canvas pad for $7.99 at Michael's, or mounted board) or thick paper made to withstand wet or mixed media.
If this is your first time, get the cheap stuff, so your investment is small if you decide not to continue with the medium.
*NOTE on reserved seats - At least one seat reserved guarantees the class.
